The new Acorn channel has gone live on Roku

They have ten series from their inventory up at any one time. If you're not a member, you can watch the first episode of any series for free, but for a $25 annual membership fee, you can watch as many episodes as you want of the currently available series.

Currently available are

Midsomer Murders Set 4
Trial and Retribution 5-8 (Netflix goes only up through 4)
Touching Evil, Series 1
Queer as Folk, complete
Upstairs Downstairs (original), Series 4 (the World War I years)
Blue Murder, Series 3
The Last Detective, Series 3
Lillie
5 Miss Marple episodes with Geraldine McEwan
The Murdoch Mysteries, Series 3 (A Canadian series about 19th century Toronto)

Every Monday, two titles leave and two new ones are added.

if you like British TV.

A few weeks ago, they had all the episodes in the newest set of Midsomer Murders, so my annual fee was paid for when I watched them.

I found Murdoch on Netflix streaming, and I like it. I don't think Series 3 is on Netflix yet.
