"The Librarians"--Like the original "The Office," only in an Australian library

Like David Brent, Frances O'Brien is arrogant to the point of incompetence, a stickler for the rules (some of which she makes up on the spot), and bigoted, with an additionally strong dose of passive-aggressive martyrdom.

I've seen one episode, and I don't know if I'd enjoy a whole season, but this vinegary but understated comedy is an interesting change from the usual American sitcom fare.

It's on Hulu.

(I like to seek and try out non-American TV on Netflix, Hulu, and Acorn. This is another example.)
