Prime streaming unsyncing--anyone else having this issue?

It happens every time we rent a video on Prime--there are lags, it falls out of synch, and we have to do a restart with our Firestick. By the time we get to the end, we've adapted and it stops driving us so nuts. Until the next time!

Now it has started happening while streaming series. Not as much, but enough that we notice.

I thought it might be our wifi, but it doesn't happen with Netflix, Kanopy, or YouTube.

The first time it happened with a rented movie, I requested a refund. That was a lot of work to get $3.99 back, and they said it was only a one-time courtesy.

1. I've been having some trouble with Prime Video, too.

I thought it was just me. I don't have any trouble with Hulu or anything else, either. I guess the only thing for us to do is send in a complaint to Amazon. Maybe they'll be able to find the bug and fix it.

We get occasional "unsyncing" on our TV channels (from EZVideo) and from all other channels for movies, including IMDB, Amazon, and Netflix. We have to go back to "Home", then reconnect to the channel we were watching, and we get sync with video and audio once again. The problem may indeed be Firestick.

My problem is watching MHZChoice (foreign movies & series). I thought it must be my wifi, but maybe it is my Roku. It's annoying as hell when the picture freezes yet they are talking away in Welsh & I can't read the sub-titles. 😬
