Hooked on Aber Bergen
I came across it randomly while recovering from something. It is free on Hoopla but I quickly exceeded my 10 rentals for the month. Now I have one of those "free for a week" subscriptions on Prime to finish season one, and I know I won't be able to stop.
Fascinating. Norwegian courtroom drama with love interest--I had not seen this in my future! Dark, but not unbearably horrifyingly dark--yet.

(112,947 posts)3. It's quite good. Check out some of the shows from Iceland -
Katla, Trapped, Entrapped, The Valhalla Murders, Case. They are vey well done. I think these are all on Netflix. Icelandic sounds like a cross between Norwegian and Klingon, so it's interesting listening as well.
I'm not sure why Scandinavian movies/TV/literature are so dark, considering that those countries are well-off and have low crime rates, but you'd think from their artistic output that they are overrun with serial killers.

I wish they'd produce another season.
