With Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.

Reeve plays Richard Collier, a playwright who becomes smitten by a photograph of a young woman at the Grand Hotel. Through self-hypnosis, he travels back in time to the year 1912 to find love with actress Elise McKenna (portrayed by Seymour). However, this relationship may not last as long as the two of them think; Elise's manager, William Fawcett Robinson (portrayed by Plummer), fears that romance will derail her career and resolves to stop him.

One of the few movies in which I thought Reeve did a good job.

Frequency was pretty good. The time Traveler's Wife was kind of weird, but I liked it ok.

A guy comes back from about 50 years ahead in time and appears at a party. He explains that he's going to come back at various times and draws a chart to explain where/when he'll be coming back in the course of the evening. Anyone know the title of this one?

Are any of y'all on flickchart, btw?

If so, tap my shoulder over there! It's a great site for ranking your favorite movies with lots of genre-slicing options and a good community on facebook. If you get hooked on voting for movies and become obsessed with getting your list in the exact right order, just don't blame me

I'd also add: Source Code and Primer.

Next had a good premise, but squandered it somewhat.

Done by Richard Curtiss of Love, Actually and Notting Hill fame. A minor film, but very sweet and sentimental and absolutely charming.
