Has anyone else watched Disjointed?

It's a sitcom in every traditional sense of the word, with canned laugher, three camera setup, and other typical sitcom structures.

The difference is it's about a cannabis dispensary, owned by Kathy Bates with a handful of wacky characters that interact at the dispensary. There's your typical stoner couple, hippie grower, newly stoned housewife, and others.

It is also different in that it uses language typically reserved for R rated comedies.

It's very refreshing and funny, especially if you are stoned at the time. Go check it out, but don't blame me if you're sober when you do.

1. I saw it on the Netflix list. I love Kathy Bates but I have a hard time with the weed thing.

I am probably the only person over 18 who has never smoked pot......or done anything else in the illegal drug realm, so it's hard for me to relate to.

I did like how they followed the traditional sitcom format. You'd never see that on tv, but it was cool to see it performed on a channel that didn't have to bow to decency rules and FCC regs.

I'm a big fan of Kathy Bates, and the weed thing doesn't bother me, but jeebus glob that laugh track. Maybe people who didn't grow up with laugh tracks on every fucking tv comedy find it funny or something, but it made me turn that thing off, and I'll never turn it back on unless they get rid of the canned yuks.
