'The Take' - UK, 4 eps - brilliant, but...
... Very, very 'english'. A four part serial, spread over 15 years or so in the 80's (made in 2009). Raunchy, rowdy, bloody and violent. A couple of low level 'hoods' (cousins), progress and drift apart but are still tied by family. Lots of family interaction, a very 'East End' family. I loved it, but I'm from the East End.
Apparently, a Starz offering and we know they'll be disappearing soon.
