"The Guilty" - UK, Two 90 minute eps. Drama 4 stars!

Starring Michael Kitchen (Foyle's War) and Caroline Catz (Doc Martin). Good to see Michael Kitchen in a villain's role for a change. Not a 'who done it 'cause you know who did it. Very good.

Then I stumbled upon the American remake, which was made 8 years later.

Well, the Brits took 3 hours for superb character development, and the Americans condensed it to 1 hour, 43 minutes of slick plot. I was going to give it 2 stars, but it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. So I gave it 3.
