I didn't buy the ages of these people. They all seemed really old, even when they were supposed to be young. It was slow, and felt like someones pet project, not a serious film.

Turned it off just when Pacino entered the picture....it’s a yawner/snoozer imo.

Didn’t buy the “ages” of the characters either.

(El Camino is significantly better, imo.) I'd say it's still a must-see movie.

-Maniscalco's appearance seemed way out of place for the overall tone of the movie. People that haven't seen his stand-up or Comedians in Cars episodes probably wouldn't have the same reaction. I was being happy for him getting the role, wondering about his Netflix contract, - *bam* out of movie.

-The horribly lip-synced lounge act is the movie's low point for me. (similar to the shifty wig in JFK, not that the wig is the only thing wrong with JFK by any stretch)

It was definitely an interesting telling of the Hoffa history, with many great tense moments, and I assume it stayed fairly true to facts. Haven't checked on that. Will likely hit the play button on it again in a year or two.

A number of people can claim to have murdered Hoffa. With no body, it's safe to claim the deed. Plus the mob probably likes it that way.

And I'm not a big gangster movie nor a Scorsese fan.I didn't care much for Pacino. He was a little buffoonish.

I'm a huge fan of mob stories (The godfather and Goodfellas are my favorite movies) but this one was different. It wasn't bloody or violent, it was more realistic. It was about relationships. I thought it was very intriguing.

The violence wasn't as much or as intense as most mob movies. It was probably more realistic in that respect.

There were times when I couldn't tell Pacino from DeNero but other than that I liked the stagecraft - very authentic to the times.

I loved seeing these three together. It was a treat. Pacino was over the top, but that’s Pacino.
