How many have alcathons in their community?

And are you going during Thanksgiving? I've gone to meetings during New Years but I have not gone during Thanksgiving. I'm usually visiting relatives and I couldn't find one where I was visiting. What's it like where you live and how to visitors find them? Ours are posted on the local website.

Here in Tucson, the holiday Alcathons have become a solid tradition. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's you can always find 24 hours of support, food and fellowship. We try to have them in the same venues every year, so we always know where to go. They can be lifesavers.
