I'm listening to the Diane Rehm show and "Stacey" called in saying she's an addict...
She has severe pain problems and people ask her howcum if she has no car and little food she can afford heroin.
"Because it's cheaper than anything else out there. I can't afford any other medicine."
Panelists had already made the point that if you have a heart problem or cancer, nobody tells you that if you're not better after a few weeks of treatment it's your own fault.
