Refuge Recovery

Has anyone here used Refuge Recovery as a tool in getting and staying sober? How has your experience with it been? I am attending my second RR meeting tonight and I think the meditations will be useful in maintaining my sobriety.

1. Looks interesting.

I have not heard of it. But I know a rehab counselor that practices Buddhism, I'll try to call her and see if she has a take.

There's mention of a $135 "starter kit?"

If it works for you go with it.

2. I hadn't seen a fee

...and the meeting I've gone to passes the basket like any 12-step meeting. There is a book, which guides you along like the Big Book; I did pick that up.

3. Let us know how it goes.

I'd be interested to hear about it.
