Need you to talk me down...first mammogram came back and they need more tests

I am 43 and just had my first Mammogram... does anyone know how common it is for them to ask for more testing due to breast density? I guess my left breast is harder for them to see and they want me to come back in for another run.

What makes me nervous is that I start weighing all the health factors against me and I think I am screwn...
I also thought this one was more of a 'baseline' so it doesn't feel good that they want another looksie.

been reading articles all over the internet, but I don't think it is making me feel better :/

1. Every baseline mamm I've ever had required an additional ultrasound.

and every time, results turn out to be normal with perhaps a tiny calcium deposit visible. I also have dense breasts.
Try not to worry.

2. Rule #1

If you're looking for the warm and fuzzies, don't go poking around the Internet.

Rule #2 (in Cancer): Don't project too much from what you know. It'll drive you nuts. Source: I have advanced stage cancer and even now when I project or speculate, I'm almost always wrong (and I diagnose things for a living!). I know it's not easy, but try not to read too much into it. If they actually found something they'd want to biopsy, they would have told you.

3. That is a good thing not bad. If they say your breast density is too much, which a lot of women are

they can use alternate technologies, ultra sound or MRI

The fact that a breast is too dense only means one may not be able to get a good protocol read

What I mean by good thing is they recognize it is dense and need to use additional technologies

The problem would be if they did not order those other technologies
