One day out of the blue my hand started flopping around uncontrollably.

Luckily it did not last long.

I did mention it to my doctor at that time and he told me it was part of the MS.

At that time, I was under a tremendous amount of stress as my mother was dying.

My suggestion to you is to get as much rest as you can as rest is the great healer for MS IMO.

Take care Lady Freedom!

Often her leg kicks out or jumps on its own. She’s had MS since she was 19, relapsing remitting. Diagnosed at 59. She’s 85.
She also has a leg that drags, doesn’t respond to commands, doesn’t react to the neurological test for reflexes.

the super-fun thing about MS is it can hit any body part at any time. sometimes i get the shakes, sometimes a limb just loses all feeling for a while. my personal favorite MS attack blinded one of my eyes for a month. it's the Forrest Gump of diseases, you never know which problem you're going to get next.

i inject Copaxone and use CBDs frequently to minimize the attacks and mitigate their severity.

and stay away.. Or it could come back.. Or it could stay. I've had it happen twice since DXd in Spring of '89 w/RD MS. MS is a very challenging disease because it's so darn unpredictable as has been mentioned.

The thing is that it 'could' also be something else, including something as simple as a nutrient lacking, so if it sticks around for a few days call your healthcare prof and get it on your record.

(I don't take any meds for my MS and haven't since '93 when I refused to take steroids anymore and, with my then neurologist's understanding, I chose not to take new meds after losing two MS friends to suicide and because I was doing so well without it. At this time I still manage my MS with diet, meditation, exercise and supplements. My biggest health problem atm isn't the MS, it's my weight after I slipped on black ice and injured my hip so had to reduce my movements quite a lot to heal. I'm now working on getting back on track although at 59 it's admittedly more of a challenge than when I'd need to take time to heal from the MS or injury. )

My doc prescribed me Tizanidine 2mg tablet 2 per night.

Worked for me.

When I forget to take the jumps return, I take the pills, jumps go to sleep.

I have a high tolerance for prescriptions
I'd hate to tell what I take in a day
