The light box seems to be doing something

because my focus is noticeably better and my energy is better than it has been in a long, long time. I don't have to do it every day, just every other day. Cautiously optimistic.

1. What kind did you end up getting?

2. It was just a little $39 one I found at Amazon,

about the size of a gameboy from some company, "gadget technologies". I figured if it didn't work, it wouldn't hurt that way.

But something is happening because I'm doing stuff I haven't done in years now and without over-analyzing, it seems to be because some part of my brain is working better or is awake or something.

3. Good for you... When it works, there is usually a signficant change.

4. I'm impressed because haven't had this kind of change without meds

either in the direction of allaying anxiety or of lifting depression. And it isn't just the more light from Spring because that hasn't been enough for the last few years to do more than make me wish I had focus and energy.

So. We'll see.

5. I've got one next to my desk at work

Seems to help a bit on some of my bad days.

6. I don't notice a 1-1 effect like that

but after doing it for about a week, I wanted to do things that I haven't been able to do. After two weeks, I started doing them.
