COBRA admin company still not cashed my check
Thus, have not informed my former health insurance company to re instate me back to 12/31. I called Friday and they say they got the check. Never had this problem before.
Stressing me out. One bill went to 3rd party billing company

1. Might make a great
Small Claims Court case. A few grand could pay it off, I'll bet.

3. I had a similar problem with my local phone company.
Spent three months shadow boxing with the phone folk and fcc. Finally resolved when I got my fed Rep involved. Cheers to Rep. Jayapal and her staff.
Ridiculous it took fed firepower to fix what was most likely a computer glitch if not deliberate malfeasance. I suggest finding out who regulates the company and get them involved. |

4. This sucks you keep having these barriers thrown in your way.
Stay strong. I know nothing about COBRA, so no good advice.
But hang in there. |

6. Ahh... don't you just love the inherent greed...
even when it appears in supposed helpful programming? There is only one reason for all this obfuscation... they don't want to do it. Just as, back in the day, the phone company could turn off your phone at any time day or night with ease, but it took three days or more to turn it back on after they received your payment. (And, this was in 1989, not in 1939!)
Please hang in there XanaDUer! I hope this works out for you. |
