Having a very hard time with this child's murder

The 5 year old boy from Crystal Lake, IL. I'm sure you all have seen it. It was so fucking preventable. CPS had been to that filthy, shit filled home dozens of times. Just a month before he was killed, he was seen at an ER for a huge bruise and it was totally dismissed. He even said maybe his mom didn't mean to hit him with a belt. They said could have been from dog jumping on him or maybe a football. Dismissed.

He was not murdered by just his parents. But, also by CPS and the doctor that saw him. I can't look at any news without seeing his sweet face. It is killing me. Been crying and raging for days. Where is the justice? Yes, the parents have been charged. A little late, don't you think? All the people (monsters) who had any knowledge of this boy's life (and his siblings) should be charged to the max.

I grew up in one town over from Crystal Lake. Don't know if that has anything to do with my horror and rage. I am just so sick of children not being protected. By anyone! I don't have an outlet for how I feel. I just cry it out. I don't understand how this happens over and over again. Why does no one care? How can no one care?

Thanks for listening. I really can't stand it any more...

There are certain things that we see on the news that almost break us. I am sorry you are suffering so much over this, I am sending you loving thoughts in hopes it will help you get through this day.

I feel your rage and heartbreak. Sometimes crying is all you can do. Please know you aren’t alone in your angst.

Please at least post a link for the story so that others can read a news link....and to give his name for all to remember.

Every time I post here. Every damn time. Someone has to throw shit at me. Done
