Hot here, so cold plates tonight:
olive tapenade hummus with garlic chive crackers.
dill potato salad with egg.
sliced smoked salmon on rye bread with cream cheese and red onion. Also a dab of sour cream and chopped chives.
tossed green salad with both spinach mustard and romaine. Scallions and cucumbers; sesame oil dressing.
iced cherry kombucha to drink
Dessert: vanilla wafers, crushed, with vanilla pudding over them and topped with sliced banana. Cold spicy good earth tea.

(23,297 posts)My boys are camping and I'm home with my senior doggo who is day to day at this point. I am making a salad with the baby greens, radishes, salad turnips and sugar snap peas that I bought at the farmer's market this morning. I'll top it with fried maifun rice noodles and grilled shrimp. Grilled naan on the side. Oh, and a nice sauvignon blanc. Cheers!
