What's for Dinner, Thurs., June 17, 2021

Italian sausages which I have a particular way of fixing that is so good: put in pan with a little olive oil. Put heat on low and cover partially. 20" each side (set the timer). They get browned beautifully this way. The exterior is crispy. Then serve with sauce: Trader Joe's corn jalapeno salsa (comes in a jar) mixed with Dijon mustard.

Pasta salad with fresh garden peas, cheddar, chopped scallion, green olives.

Dessert: ice cream bar.

To drink: cherry zero cola.

Coconut custard pie for desert. And maybe watermelon, though I should pause before opening King Kong.

Lean burger patty with mustard and bread and butter pickle slices
Mashed Potatoes
Lima Beans.

This reminds me of meals of my childhood.

FLFC is napping. I fed him some Temptations treats earlier but TJ has been feeding him this evening. I see meatloaf, meatball, and Vienna sausage remnants on his plate. I think some meat and gravy from a turkey pot pie was consumed as well.
