1. breakfast taco

and a banana

2. dashing out the door

to get some gardening done at the community garden before the thunderstorm (again) this afternoon.

So I had to have something quick: raisin bran with blueberries and almonds.

3. My Usual - Yogurt with fruit, Dry toast, black coffee

This morning it was plain whole milk yogurt with ruby grapefruit sections, skillet toasted raisin-nut bread and 3 cups black coffee.
The other part of same ol,ol breakfast is to read the Dallas morning news while having my breaky.

4. I drink my coffee as I digitally read the news.

6. I can't give up my morning paper

It is such a habit for me. I come from a newspaper family. We always subscribed to all the local papers and everyone read them front to back. Dallas only has one paper now, the Dallas Morning News, and reading the paper copy of the DMN is my morning addiction. I do subscribe to the digital version of the NYT.

7. my first job as a kid was delivering the Detroit Free Press, I liked that job

the smell of newsprint still lingers in my memory.

I had NYT & the local paper delivered for years, we took the papers over to an animal rescue place bi monthly.
