Good discussion of this at this thread:

However, if you didn't post there or changed your mind, post here.
I didn't make it to my pizza last night. Too much food. I could have that but instead I think I'll make chicken fingers with various sauces: honey-mustard, Buffalo wing hot sauce, BBQ, maybe teriyaki.
There is plenty of salad left from last night.
I also didn't make it through the movie, "Don't Look Up." I missed the last 20", so I'm going back to finish it tonight. What I saw, though, was very funny and what I thought was brilliant satire.
A nice thing about Teleparty is you can comment on the movie and listen to comments from the other person without missing something in the movie due to another person talking. I liked that. I would do Teleparty again.

(17,422 posts)TJ is working nights Friday though Monday morning so this is not a food holiday here.
She baked some lasagna so I think I'll have that with tossed salad tonight.
FLFC will have a choice of various meats and apple slices. I'll also offer him some sweet potato which he seems to like recently.
Green salad to start. Romaine lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, sliced green olives with a mustard vinaigrette dressing.
Large stuffed clams with lemon and cocktail sauce. Garnished with parsley.
Linguini with red clam sauce. The clams are local to the Outer Banks. The sauce is roasted garlic and fresh basil.
Dessert will be Pepperidge Farms Montauk chocolate chip cookies.

(121 posts)Coated in Oven Fry and baked (as close to fried chicken taste but MUCH healthier) with mashed potatoes, collard greens (for me), spinach (for my wife) rolls and salad.

(46,030 posts)Usually duck comes out before Xmas. And at a cost of $27 a bird.
But the day after Xmas, discount! $5-6 a bird. That's right, not a pound, but per bird.
I have an easy recipe where you pour boiling water over it to tighten up the skin and then roast 45 minutes per interval for three intervals, turning twice.
Crispy skin, delicious and luxurious meat.
Accompanied by red cabbage with apples and onions.

I caramelized the onions in beef fat(stew beef), took that out of my pan, roasted the commercial yellow curry spice mix, I added the birds eye chili slices, fish sauce, brown sugar, added canned coconut milk. Added green edamame, yellow & red peppers, let that saute over low heat 5 min. I added the slivered kaffer lime leaves, taste checked again. I'll serve it over jasmine rice.
I also will say the brand of fish sauce I used is very very sodium heavy. Next time I'll get coconut amigos. The 1.5 Tablespoons of that liquid is by my maths over 2000 mgs of sodium.

(4,588 posts)I didnt make it, brought it home from work last night. Were closed until Wednesday so someone had to eat what was left. Quite a sacrifice I made for the team, lol! It was delicious.
For dessert, a couple peppermint bark/dark chocolates.
So many customers and friends dropped off goodies for us this past week! Surprised I havent gained 20 lbs. We split up the last of the loot before we went home last night. Ive got cupcakes, candies, fudge, cookies galore ... taking some over to my neighbors tomorrow (before I explode).
