Thanks for posting this, it'll help a lot. I'm currently trying very hard not to waste even a tiny smidgeon of food in the kitchen now.

I was, fortunately, never subjected to it. But the mere mention of the name still causes reflexive gagging in my mother as it recalls the terror of seeing it upon her childhood dinner table.
And while you are cooking w/leftover salmon, you can LISTEN to Leftover Salmon:

(5,231 posts)3. Thanks for posting this! I love finding new things to do with leftovers.
We had leftovers from a Japanese restaurant (sushi rice, chicken, veggies and peanut sauce) and some leftover grilled salmon from dinner the night before. I made a rice salad out of all of them, plus a green onion from my garden, and it was delicious. And cool/light on a very hot day.

I just hate wasting food lol. So I throw it all together and hope it works out.
