Quesopizza

Made something different for dinner tonight

Quesopizza?

I had some spinach and herb big flour tortilla wraps.
Had some leftover Ragu spaghetti sauce. Got some mozzerella cheese and I grated it fine. Added a bunch of sliced pepperoni.

I added a bit of garlic powder and italian seasoning and a few red pepper flakes.

I laid out the tortilla flat in a full circle.

On the whole circle I put a thin layer of spaghetti sauce careful to spread it as evenly as I could all the way to the ends of the tortilla.

I put on the fine grated mozzerella cheese like you would layer on the cheese in a quesadilla.

I added lots of pepperoni
In 2 layers with cheese in between and on the sauce putting them in circles covering the entire surface of the tortilla.

Got my cast iron skillet put a light coating of olive oil heated it up.

I folded the tortillas in half. Cooked them on each side until the cheese melted than cooked them like 6 seconds more to make sure the pepperoni was hot. They were browned beautifully.

Sliced it with a pizza cutter into trianges.

Dipped it in marinara sauce flavored with italian seasoning ,chopped cooked mushrooms, onion powder and finely chopped olives. And a little bowl of pesto too.

Served it with crisp orange pepper rings and
Tomato wedges and fresh mozzerella pearls and a few basil leaves drizzled in Balsamic vinegar.

It was good. Suprised me.

When I walked into the kitchen I had no idea what to cook.looked at leftovers and came up with this.

I will be making this again!

letting your imagination be your guide in the kitchen? Just putting together flavors and foods that you like into a new and delicious concoction. Sounds good!
