What's for Dinner, Wed., May 4, 2022

My friend and I ordered Chinese for dinner, and we're having it at her house. Shrimp lo mein, fried rice, shrimp with vegetables, and sesame noodles.

I'm taking cherry kombucha to drink and my friend has had a few rough days so she says she's having vodka on the rocks.

served w/ the last of the leftover fried rice from the Chinese restaurant the other night. Maybe some green beans on the side.

(I may forgo the rice. This morning I had a carb-free breakfast, and it was the first time in a long time that breakfast didn't make me feel like I had to go back to bed. I'm thinking limiting carbs may be a good idea.

Of course that means I won't be having a brownie for dessert.

For Dad, I cooked kielbasa, boiled potatoes and carrots and steamed green beans. Did not stay to eat with him. Will be taking him for his 2nd booster tomorrow (there's a clinic at the middle school). I'll probably get mine too.

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts baked in some BBQ sauce
Baked yellow and green squash. I think the green is zucchini, but I don't know for sure.
Pumpkin pie - no sugar added
A mug of Bengal Spice tea.
