Slow cooker cheese corn first time trying this with Cuban sandwiches

I doubled this cuz of teenage boys and their friends so here we go

6 cups corn I used frozen
1/2 diced peppers
1/2 onion
1/4 cup butter
1 cup milk I used whole milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4,tsp pepper
4oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese I used pepper jack and sharp cheddar.

So you dump corn in crockpot on low four hours. Add milk pepper salt.
Then after four hours toss in the shredded cheese and cream cheese it says if you find it to thin you can add touch flour to thicken it up.

I'm trying to salvage this, as in "Let's eat Grandma" vs. "Let's eat, Grandma" but it's a challenge.

3. seems like it could be done in 5 or 10 minutes on the stove

I don't know if available everywhere, but you can get fire roasted frozen kernels from mainstream food companies now - would be pretty good in that recipe.
