What's for Dinner, Wed., Sept. 14, 2022

I made up a cold plate with hummus (one is chipotle, the other red pepper), raw almonds, tomato-thyme jam, kalamata olives, and goat cheese. I also have a fresh baguette.

Mascarpone and whole wheat crackers. Smoked salmon.

For the veggies, I have cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, a fresh bell pepper that I just picked, and carrot sticks.

If I get hungry later, I made some vegetable-beef soup.

Tart cherry kombucha.

I stopped at WF for a slice of carrot cake and for the second time in a row, they didn't have it!

So I might make my own. I bought a slice of chocolate cream pie for tonight.

which is always good. My son didn't cook a vegetable like I asked him to, so I had the second half of a tomato that was used for last night's supper, cut up some cauliflower, cucumber, and radish and had a mini crudite bowl for myself.

The lamb stew had a great spice combination of cinnamon, cumin, ginger with onions, garlic, diced carrots, and diced tomatoes.

First time I tried this recipe.
