Uh oh, bet Lucinda's not feeling so great.
I'm making quinoa-black bean-cheese stuffed peppers and I might pick up some turkey sausages when I go out.

Sounds good. I'm having the meatloaf I made last night, again.

Hope Lucinda is ok. Thanks for starting this today, NJCher!

(2,593 posts)to make vegetable soup. While I was at the grocery today, I picked up some Cream of Wheat for tomorrow morning. I bet it's been 40 years since I've had Cream of Wheat! We had Sloppy Joes earlier this week. I wonder what's causing me to go "retro" with food lately?

(53,661 posts)I made a pasta fagol (?) today. I varied my recipe. I used pinto beans, sea shell macaroni, sauted onion and garlic as usual. I'd run out of diced tomatoes, so I tossed in a gifted tub of organic salsa, dried parsley and a slice of store cheddar instead of grated parmesan. It turned out good and spicy with the salsa.
