If I have enough energy to make something after dealing with a basement flood from the Andrea rains, repairing a vacuum cleaner, and planting in the garden:

Corn-scallion fritters.

Green salad with beets, feta cheese, and walnuts.

The recipe called for a creamy dressing which turned out well. I'd make it again.

and I mean huge! Lettuce, sweet peppers, cukes, strawberries, pears, walnuts, craisins, carrots, sometimes some maple turkey, olive oil, basil, chives. Takes us a long time to eat them...filling and satisfying (the fresh lettuce really makes a difference!)

glass of chardonnay.

Dessert? probably Trader Joe vanilla soy creamy with fresh strawberries and blueberries.
