Grilled sesame asparagus

http://cookingwiththemark.blogspot.com

Ingredients
Bunch of asparagus, chopped into bite sized pieces
sesame oil
toasted sesame seeds
sea salt
olive oil

Directions
Fire up the grill and get it nice and hot. Coat the asparagus with a little olive oil. Place a grill wok on the grill and when it's hot, toss the asparagus in it. Stir every couple minutes and when the asparagus is almost done, about 8 minutes, pour the sesame oil over it and cook an additional minute. Remove, and in a bowl, add a bit of sea salt and top with sesame seeds.

Just trim the bottoms of the asparagus, but otherwise leave them whole.

Mix one part sesame oil to two or three parts olive oil, with the total being enough to just coat the asparagus. A few tablespoons, total.

Wash and dry the asparagus spears. Put them on a plate and drizzle with the oil mixture and the sea salt. Toss them (by hand is easiest) to coat them thoroughly.

Place on a hot grill and let them go, rolling them to turn, until they have nice grill marks.

Remove from the fire and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds.

(No chopping, no grill wok, no extra steps . . . just the ingredients, a grill, and some tongs).
