What's for Dinner, Fri., July 18, 2014

Chicken Piccata. I have lots of lemon to use up.

I'm also preparing for grilling vegetables over the weekend: red and orange peppers, onion, and zucchini.

I bought a romaine head, too, which would be wonderful on the grill.

Why wait for November?

Pan seared steak with onions

Bruchetta with tomatoes from the garden

We will open a bottle of wine and have some Birthday cake while we finish off Orange is the new Black.

With great restraint, I stretched them over two meals; and the cat had a great time with the baking tin it came in.

Fresh wax beans from the farm stand and other stuff lying around finished the meals.
