a harbor near a huge mushroom facility.

As it turns out, those white button mushrooms that are so readily available are grown under big piles of manure.

To say that this place put out a terrible smell would be a huge understatement. I swear that I woke up in the middle of the night and thought a whale had died in the harbor.

I'm not a big mushroom fan to begin with, but this really did me in.

The New Hampshire Mushroom Company will not be on my list of things I must see!

From what I see, it looks like this place mostly grows cellulose eaters. It would smell like wet wood, damp paper, and a little fungal musk. No strong smells in the place.

I actually like those really unique and generally very expensive mushrooms, but they are hard to find.
