i pulled some chicken thighs from the freezer last night and i'll just do them in the skillet again as i still have not called the property management company about the oven. not sure on sides yet, maybe mashed taters and frozen peas.

Pulled some ground sirloin out of the freezer, along with mozza balls to make some mozza-stuffed meatballs, but the sirloin isn't totally unfrozen, so probably not going to be happening for dinner tonight. Did a small amount of the crack potatoes yesterday, so we finished off those leftover for lunch today, so that's not happening for dinner.
Maybe the glazed crockpot kielbasa bites? I guess I'll edit and add tonight as we get closer in.
Update: Housemate feeling yucky, so we went with 'scrounge night'.

The kitchen, stove top, and ovens are clean.
So, it's take-out pizza night. (I haven't had one in months.)

(16,330 posts)I still can't figure out why I am responsible for everyone's food around here. Some days I just don't care and I don't feel like cooking.

(3,813 posts)check out the kitchen, wife had a 2 hour delay this morning cuz of the
snow. (which is now gone) and while I was sleeping put everything in
the crock-pot for chili. I walked into the kitchen and there was a pile
of cans and jars but no smell, I picked up the lid and a most
wonderful smell filled the kitchen, seems the lid fits a lot better then
the old crock-pot did.

(11,340 posts)... to go with the curry-like leftover filling from last night's samosas.
It was pretty good. It's been a long time since I last made paratha. I had forgotten just how high to set the heat for them.
