What's for Dinner, Wed., March 4, 2015

Chicken cordon bleu from the grocery store, since I know I won't feel like cooking when I get home tonight around 8:45 p.m.

Big storm coming in around midnight tonight. The stores were mobbed.

I put two into a brine yesterday (just salt and brown sugar). I've had a butternut squash I've been meaning to roast for about 2 months now, so that's going into the oven as well. Some leftover broccoli on the side. Hopefully, there's a can of cranberry sauce hiding in the back of the pantry that I have overlooked.

I can't wait to make a turkey salad using one of the legs.

Snow is melting here atop Mt. Wilson. It should be all gone in a day or two. Most folks have to shovel snow to go to work. I have to shovel snow while at work!

Cause I was waiting in the car while the housemate got her hair done and there was an organic foods store a couple doors down.

I know it sounds weird, but it's fast and delicious.

Mixed salad greens
Watermelon radish - chopped
tomato - chopped
one frozen burrito - zapped (I use Cedarlane beans & rice)
- carefully cut your burrito into bite size pieces and top your salad like warm, fat, squishy croutons
dot with guacamole or avocado chunks - whatever you have
top with salsa

Eat!
