We had oven roasted potatoes (Irish & sweets) with onions, steamed broccoli, speckled butter beans.

6. And I'm drooling over your dinner. Since my sister and I combined our households

I have been eating much better, and mostly vegetarian. I still cook a big family dinner on Sunday for the family, so I get my animal protein fix. A bonus to this relationship is that I cook and she washes dishes and vacuums. We are planning a large garden--she is a seasoned gardner, and I will can/preserve whatever we grow. We have a total of 7 cats and 1 dog. It is working out wonderfully and much better than I ever could have imagined.

7. How wonderful for you and your sister.

We have gradually made meat less central to our meals, but I still use it.

I am so envious of your garden. Two things about living on a boat I miss the most - a bathtub and a garden.

Made a salad since I forgot to cook a vegetable.
