(9,808 posts)I have been eating much better, and mostly vegetarian. I still cook a big family dinner on Sunday for the family, so I get my animal protein fix. A bonus to this relationship is that I cook and she washes dishes and vacuums. We are planning a large garden--she is a seasoned gardner, and I will can/preserve whatever we grow. We have a total of 7 cats and 1 dog. It is working out wonderfully and much better than I ever could have imagined.

I am so envious of your garden. Two things about living on a boat I miss the most - a bathtub and a garden.
Enjoy yourself! You deserve it.
