for lack of a better term. It's got everything but dirt in it. Nine kind of chilies, too. 5 extra hot, 4 not-so-much.

And bread - lots of bread.

I was so happy to come home and find I'd overlooked a jar of chili I'd made and semi-frozen. It was cold outside and that's what I was in the mood for. I topped it with several dollops of sour cream, shredded cheddar, and chopped raw onion.

lima beans, tomato/cucumber salad. Found a package of kirby cucumbers at a local market. Boy, do they ever hit the spot!!! Tastes like summertime!

6. An instant pot experiment

Sauteed sausage and onion in it, then tried the instapot pasta deal: one box pasta, one jar sauce, 2 cups water, cook 10 minutes on poultry setting. Came out perfect, and what a luxury for me not to have to clean multiple pots, drain the pasta water, wonder if the pasta and sauce will come out even.
