(35,622 posts)I'm doing a "whatever's in the frig" night, since I took delivery on a shipment of gardening supplies late this afternoon, and that took up all my cooking time.
So first I took some leftover broccoli I'd steamed and made it into a Mollie Katzen dish that's one of my favorites. It's called Broccoli and Friends, and it's sauteed broccoli with onion and garlic, red pepper flakes, and a sprinkling of olive oil over all. Grate some cheese over it and put it in a low-carb wrap. So delicious.
Now I'm having some goat cheese with honey and cabernet sauvignon.
The last item for the evening will be some pasta the RG made. It has sauce made with roasted tomatoes and ground chicken. We had it two nights ago and everyone agreed it was exceptional.
Earlier this a.m., I made a big fruit salad with cantalope, red grapes, apple, and mango. If I want dessert, that will be it.

(2,016 posts)I'm serving on jury duty all week (maybe next, too). I get home after trial, and I find myself not hungry.
People can be so evil ... I must live in a different world than others. I want my appetite back!
Just picking about the fridge... I miss cooking.
