What's for Dinner, Fri., July 8, 2016

Polenta with wild mushroom sauce.

Tossed green salad made with garden lettuce.

Dessert will prol'ly be watermelon and blackberries.

She made a chicken and sausage lasagna that was delicious. I took a nice salad of mixed greens, red onions, tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers and red peppers. When I served it, I sprinkled crumbled bacon and croutons on every bowl. I brought a Ranch dressing to go with it. I also took garlic bread.

For dessert her granddaughter had made a chocolate cake, which she served with a choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
