What's for Dinner, Thurs., Sept. 15, 2016

We're going to the Ironbound to our favorite Portuguese restaurant for dinner this evening. I am up for something light, so it will just be appetizers for me. Here's what I'm thinking:

Baked stuffed clams,

Fried sweet peppers, and/or

Queso Manchego (Spanish cheese).

Probably two of the three above.

I'm atop Mt. Wilson today, so I'll be late coming home. I'll make a sub shop stop at a local place (no chain subs for me!).

the pork was fine but the spicy chow chow wasn't spicy. We are going to have to remember to use some of the ribs of the jalapeno. Otherwise we can't taste it. And I didn't care for mustard and mayo mixed with sweet potato. The dish just didn't have the fresh taste the others have had.
