Cauliflower bagels. I make them as "everything bagels" and put sesame seed, garlic bits, Malten salt, etc. on them. I know, sounds like a weird thing to have for dinner, right? But they are the most delicious vegetable concoctions. This is a low-carb diet substitute for bagels, but I vastly prefer it to regular bagels.
I'm going to serve them with this new sauce I've made called Turmeric-Cilantro. I learned about it while researching recipes that use turmeric. Turmeric has very important health benefits.
To go with the cauliflower bagels, a soup would be nice. I have some beef broth which I will pair with ginger in some way. That part's still up in the air, and I'll enjoy researching my soup cookbooks for ideas on that.
For dessert, a caramel apple.

p.s. I put my chicken in a roasting bag last night and put hoisin sauce on it. The RG gave me a big package of these roasting bags. Wow, is this the way to go or what!? So tender and delicious and ZERO cleanup.

(16,330 posts)Cauliflower bagels sound good! What's the level of difficulty would you say?

(35,622 posts)As long as you have a good blender that will chop the cauliflower. If not, then it's a more time-consuming process.
