Broccoli salad with raisins, cheddar cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds.

(3,040 posts)But, I love english muffin pizzas! When I make them, I toast them just start to brown, rub in some olive oil, then a good sauce, fresh mozzarella, onion powder, and oregano. They are amazing!
Tonight, I am making oven cooked baby back ribs, but I think I may have English muffin pizzas tomorrow!
Is the broccoli cooked or raw?

(35,658 posts)I keep it a little on the crunchy side.
I put it in ice water to keep the green color right after I steam it.
On another topic, one of our posters asked me about the brand name of the slicer I use. It's a Chef's International, Model 632. I thought this was a PM, but now I can't find it! Hope the info reaches the right person.
I prol'ly would have used English muffins, as I love an English muffin. But the RG had purchased these pizza rolls from the Tarrytown Mkt up in Rye, so I wanted to use them up. I'm slicing them--of course!

No one cares what else we're having -- but there will be a salad and rice...and MAYBE another slice of Blackout Cake.

(10,133 posts)Made from the last of my Borlotti crop. Started simmering them with a ham bone, will add a little hot pepper sauce to the mustard/molasses mixture this time just to be different.
