Boston's restaurants... What do you recommend?

I have a friend going to Boston on Tuesday for business...What " good eats" restaurant would you recommend? Not necessarily the traditional famous but the hidden gems of Boston.

5. The Black Rose

I always get the Shepard's Pie.

I also recommend drinking on the freedom trail. Or at least pick a few bars to visit on the trail.

To me, it is worth the price to drop in at the bar at the Boston Harbor Hotel for a raspberry martini. It's been more than a few years since I have been to Boston, call to make sure they still offer it.
