What's for Dinner, Fri., Apr. 7, 2017

Lamb stew over egg noodles. The RG made the stew, so you know it's gonna' be good! He is the "hearty foods" cook and I am the salad maker.

The salad will be a mix of endive and red leaf lettuce with beets, goat cheese, scallions, and toasted pecans.

Dessert will be this new type of ice cream which is very low in sugar. It's called "Enlightened" and they have all kinds of terrific flavors. Only about 60 calories a serving! Tonight's flavor is vanilla-almond.

I hope to enjoy all this while binge watching some new series on Netflix or Amazon.

Today he's the cook, and brined a chicken, and roasted it with red potatoes; also roasted artichokes, and aoli.

And for desert, blackberries with whipped cream!

Early dinner, because it's been windy and want to show him the Chesapeake as wind recedes. and sun sets!
