What's for Dinner, Mon., April 10, 2017

Steak with black peppercorn sauce.

Cucumbers in Guatemalan cream, chopped red onion.

Arugula salad with parmesan, and toasted pine nuts.

There’s a blueberry pie here that I’m going to try to stay away from. A friend brought it by last night.

Sausage and peppiz, mushrooms, onions, potatoes with crushed tomatoes. And baguette for dunkin'.

Back from the laying dead. I don't know what kind of nasty bug I caught, but part of it meant I haven't had an appetite for a whole week. Anyway, seems to be mostly gone now. OK, I'm hungry!

It was an extra good batch.

edit: I wouldn't refrain from that pie! I have just thought of long ago. Fond memories of picking wild berries (huckleberries, blackberries and blueberries) and bringing them home for mom to bake pies.
