Success!

I've been experimenting with sourdough lately including adding different ingredients (sun dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, onion, etc) and I've hit a home run with small cubes of sharp cheddar cheese and minced jalapeno.

The cheese melts and leaves holes in the bread. I cook it in a vintage cast iron dutch oven which creates steam giving the bread a chewy texture.

I'm pretty proud of myself.

I am single and cannot eat all that I cook so I give bread to friends and family. This is going to make me quite popular!

I love sourdough bread and also love jalapenos, sounds like a winner combination. Want to share your recipe and sourdough handling techniques?
