(think El Pollo Loco style). With Mexican rice, and pinto beans with cilantro and onion.

ps: Cher - I love egg rolls! What else are you stuffing them with? My new "thing" is oyster chicken wings. Some oyster sauce, a little of honey, garlic and soy. That's it. (I fry them first, then toss like you would for Buffalo style). Yum.

she's out of town so we are taking advantage of it and heading to a place she refuses to go. I can't remember what set her off about the place but it's been more than 10 years since she would go. I kid you not. She's the persnickety one of the bunch so we let her get away with this kind of thing.

Sauce is Alouette herb creamy cheese, blended with cream (yum) over zoodles, and mushroom and garlic rice pilaf (from a box) on the side.

Pan fried chicken cutlets - dredged in a little bit of flour with salt, pepper, garlic and other seasonings and sauteed in a bit of oil.
Scalloped potatoes (TJ's recipe)

We are at the early stages of preparation, so some sort of vegetable or salad side will be added.

This is the first time I made a fish based soup/stew. I liked it, but next time. I would use the largest fresh shrimp I could get from Bob the Fish Guy.
