What's for Dinner, Sunday, July 2, 2017

Swordfish, for which I made (at the RG's suggestion) an herb paste of tarragon, sesame seed, and soy. Also chives.

Big red leaf salad with avocado, hardboiled egg, bacon, and cucumber.

Dessert: Mango Haagen Daz and tiny little cookies.

p.s. Thanks, PennyK, for starting the thread yesterday. I was stuck at the gardens, awaiting a truckload of compost, which never arrived. Now it's coming Monday.

I'm doing comfort food tonight -- fried flounder, steamed broccoli, and an evil orange-ish packaged side dish which will not be named...but I'm prepping my Cuisinart ice-cream maker for fresh lemon sherbet tomorrow. i haven't used that baby in two years, and I look forward to a tart and tangy treat.

with meatballs and hot Italian sausage. With rigatoni and pecorino romano. A green salad to boot.
