What's for Dinner, Sat., July 8, 2017

I thought I'd start the thread early, as many might be cooking up gardening produce or perhaps they've gone to the farmer's market and want to tell about their finds.

I'm cooking some garden produce this a.m., but the RG is making up a pot of cannellinis which we will have with tuna and chopped red onion. Herbs on top, too, like thyme and basil.

I'm making "crustless kale pie" using kale from my garden. Took a while to process, as the leaves had gotten a little too big in a few instances. By "processing" I mean cutting the ribs out and also chopping into small pieces. I dip my kale in boiling water for under a minute when I make recipes like this.

The crustless kale pie has eggs, goat cheese, mozzarella, and feta cheese in it. Should be good.

I don't often have a fabulous meal to write about (tonight was pasta with Italian sausage and jarred sauce with onions and peppers added), but it's wonderful to hear about your and others' culinary adventures.
