What's for Dinner, Fri., July 21, 2017

Too hot to cook, so I think the RG, who is on his way home from the airport, is picking up dinners from our favorite Portuguese restaurant. Thus it will be chicken Francese and shrimp, tossed salad with artichokes and tomatoes, yellow rice, mixed vegetables with garlic, "homemade" potato chips, and whipped potatoes.

I had too much pizza this afternoon. Then I did a few outdoor chores. I feel asleep after I came in and cooled off. I just woke up as the sun is setting. I was going to make Jambalaya, but it will have to wait until tomorrow.

TJ is heading in to work at 11 tonight or 3 a.m., so I'm on my own as she sleeps.

There are chicken, pasta and potato salads plus cheeses, crackers and fruit on hand. I'll snack on them.

Followed by Irish whiskey with a little ice. - on second thought I'll have that first.
