Husband requested pumpkin pie, and since this year it's just the two of us (and that really doesn't appeal to me), I'm going to try a no-bake pumpkin-pudding pie, with chocolate-cookie crust, chocolate drizzle and toasted pecans on top. Last year, with more family here, we did a from-scratch pumpkin pie, a chocolate cake, and Key Lime and coconut pie, but I'm taking it easy this time.
Hopefully next year, at least one daughter will come and we can get more elaborate.
