What's for Dinner, Sun., Mar. 25, 2018

Appetizer: chicken livers and chopped eggs on crackers

Salad: watercress and romaine, mixed with chopped asparagus, water chestnuts, and toasted hazelnuts. Dressing is freshly squeezed orange juice combined with sesame oil, tamari, and a little agave (I made this salad up on my own).

Hamburgers on brioche rolls with lettuce, tomato, red onion.
Cottage fries.

Dessert: bread pudding with vanilla cream topping, drizzled with rum.

Pad thai's been my favorite; afraid I get stuck on same old same old. May try chicken curry, even tho I do one myself (but surely not as good as theirs.)

Broiled salmon with a baked potato and mache salad.
Just had some Livarot cheese on a bunch of olive oil and pepper triscuits.
No dessert (never felt the need) and some nice Spanish Tempranillo.
Waiting for the potato to finish baking in about a half hour.

Cod cakes and ... ??? Haven't decided.

I,too, had chicken livers on crackers (for lunch) today, Cher.

My nephew just flew in to LA from NYC, so I'll get to hang out with him in "my" city for a change. I'll see him on Tuesday...

Topped it with a pat of butter while resting. Side was shell macaroni with a rich marinara and parmesan.coffee with and Chocolate milk after.
Just got a pan of brownies out of the oven but won’t get in to them tonight... Something sweet for the rest of the week.
